Your reading data
Books, progress, reading sessions, goals, and notes are stored on your device. Booklume does not require an account and does not operate an analytics or advertising service.
Book search
When you search for a book, the search words are sent to Open Library so Booklume can return matching titles and cover images. Do not enter sensitive personal information into book search. Open Library is a project of the Internet Archive; see the Internet Archive Terms of Use. If search doesn’t have what you’re looking for, you can add a book manually instead.
Photos and camera
Photos and camera scans are processed on-device with Apple Vision. Booklume saves only the note text you choose to keep and does not upload the image.
Purchases
Apple processes purchases. Booklume reads your current App Store entitlements to determine whether Pro features are available. Booklume does not receive your payment details.
Widgets
A summary of your reading activity is shared only with Booklume’s widget extension through the app’s private App Group, so your Home Screen widget can display it. Be mindful that a widget may be visible to anyone who can see your screen.
Tracking and advertising
Booklume does not track users across apps or websites and does not include third-party advertising.
Data deletion
Because Booklume stores reading data locally, you can remove individual books, sessions, and notes from within the app. Deleting Booklume from your device removes its locally stored app data, subject to Apple’s device backup and restoration behavior — a backup taken before deletion may still contain that data.
Children
Booklume is a general-audience reading utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we make a material change to this policy, we’ll reflect it by updating the “Last updated” date above.
This website
This website (junglebirds.in) includes Vercel Web Analytics to measure website usage, and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to these providers when loading the website; those connections may include technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. These services apply to this website only — your Booklume reading data remains on your device.
